|
|
I'm starting up FF3 in an Xvfb session in order to take screenshots of the homepage in a cron job. I just want FF3 it to go straight to the 'home page' I've selected.
* I don't want it to tell me it crashed and do I want to recover - just load the frickin homepage!
* I don't want it to tell me we're on a new version - just load the frickin homepage!
etc.
I just want it to be 'dumb' and do what it's told. Can I do this via about:config / prefs.js?
Cheers,
Rich. |

Hmm,
browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash seems to fix the 'do you want to recover from a crashed session' message and setting
browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone = ignore allegedly stops the redirect on a new version. we shall see...
I won't mark as SOLVED yet, as other opinions sought on how to achieve "console/cabinet" mode (wrong word, can't think what it's called ATM).
