Hi,
Title says it all. No codec for 64bit version, no realplay/helix players for 64bit, even source rejects to compile......I'm at a loss. realcodecs doesn't work.
Will anyone tell me how?

i.e. real is disabled. Why?

| You don't need binary codecs, ffmpeg can now play RV40 and RV30 files, with mplayer and theirs internal version of ffmpeg you can play realmedia files. I don't know which version but with unstable version of mplayer I am sure you can do this. I use live version from overlay so I don't know details, which version etc. I think I saw once realmedia use flag or something like that but anyway you don't need real flag, that flag is masked for amd64, maybe also for x86, I don't know, if you want binary codecs (not recommended) you can unmask use flag for that package. Did you try to just play the video? |
