Hi all
After I upgraded my X server to version 1.5 about a week ago I experience some problems with it. My Xserver crashes if:
1. I start Xine with the video panel on
2. during a skype conversation somebody turns on the camera streaming

I am not sure if those are all causes. How can I fix that?
I have
Code:
chopin ~ # uname -a
Linux chopin.physics.mun.ca 2.6.25-gentoo-r7 #40 SMP Tue May 5 08:16:22 NDT 2009 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.60GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

My Xorg.conf is not existing. My understanding is that it is not needed as of version 1.5 of the X server. HAL is taking care of everything. Although I wonder how do I select the default video mode now.

Code:
chopin ~ # emerge --info

From another thread (https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-762152-highlight-.html) I gather that xf86-video-intel driver version >2.6.1 are buggy and server crashes are common especially with kernel version >2.6.27
