I am trying to install three fonts of the same type. It is the Dominican TrueType font. I can install one or two (the regular and/or italic) of the fonts, but when I attempt to add the third, usually the small caps, it seems to overwrite the regular font. The regular and small caps fonts end up looking the same in OpenOffice 3.0.1 for example. I am using KDE 3.5.10 (the Font Installer in the Control Panel under System Administration), though I don't think the issue is with KDE, because the rest of the fonts I use look and work as expected. Perhaps there's something fubar about the font namings/encodings in the Dominican font. How would I go about confirming this and getting all three types of the font to work?
