Usually a call trace in the log file is not a good thing. Does anything in here represent some kind of problem that I should concern myself with?

This probably means VMWare modules are linked against old kernel features, which are deemed to disappear soon. I'd say expect vmware-modules to malfunction some day or not being able to modprobe them. Maybe file a bug on VMWare site - I know however its reputation is not about being well supported. But if you don't try... _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...

Might be worth a go enabling "Enable unused/obsolete exported symbols" in Kernel Hacking section of kernel config. Dunno though. _________________ Jingle Jangle Jewellery |
