Not sure what your problem is, but check that all your dependencies are up to date. Especially Perl.
I just finished installing MythTV .11 and everything went smooth. |

hi
thanks for your help.
i just installed all needed packages.
i told you something wrong. the problem is not mythtv, the problem is xmltv.
i tried two different versions. both make the same problem.
maybe you know why THIS happens.
thx

I have a simular problem with different numbers (but still three) ... It also makes 3 ACCESS DENIED/unlink while compiling xmltv-0.5.16. When I try to install 0.5.14 it has 2 ACCESS DENIED / unlinked files. It is portage who makes the error with an ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY log-file.
The errors are either after "Do you want to proceed the installation" or the package "lib/XMLTV.pm.PL" in connection with perl.
EDIT: I have read that it can be a sandbox problem, where the script "unlink" can have wrong paths or something. There is a bug-report on the problem: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=27070, but it is still weird that they say 0.5.14-1 is fixed.
2. EDIT: I found out that everything is compiled and waiting for merging... the only thing you need to do is:
Code: | ebuild xmltv-0.5.16.ebuild merge |
in the directory /usr/portage/media-tv/xmltv _________________ Former Official Danish Gentoo Translation Team |
