hmm... I have a problem with kvm-85-r1. after updating i can't run kvm (with, or without kernel module) at all. I always get:
localhost user # kvm [options]
Unable to find x86 CPU definition
i'm using turion64X2 if it matters
googling on "Unable to find x86 CPU definition" resulted only in kvm-dev patches, what means, that nobody have had this problem yet...
i tried all possible -cpu options. still the same
also tried:
downgrading kvm to 84, 83 (it worked some time ago),
older kernel,
screaming, shouting, begging.... |

Have you tried not specifying a CPU type for the guest? The default is fine for x86 guests. What -cpu options did you try exactly? |
