hi.
I heard about the juk player here in the gentoo forums, i installed it a few days ago but dont seem to be able to search my collection: there is no search bar available and no button on the toolbar. I believe that it is possible to search since it is mentioned elsewhere, also the juk handbook has a picture of the toolbar with a search button on it...
any hints?
thanks

another think i miss about juk is that you cannot shuffle the tracks yourself ...and there seems to be no net-radio support ...but all in all it's a great app ...i'd hate to see it stop evolving now!! _________________ tea+free software+law=hook

for a while, i was able to shuffle the tracks myself ... but wasnt able to reproduce it.
I like juk's tag editor: it works, specificaly, it remembers custom-genres and works along non-english languages in ogg songs.
Well, linux jukeboxes are really starting so it'll take some more time.
Right now i like:
juk's tag editing and player
yammi's fuzzy search
Musik's "a little bit of everything"
Still, those features i miss in juk appear to be present: people talk abut them and they are mentioned in the manuals!!. I'll try cvs out |
