what is the proper way to install cursor themes for gnome so that I may select them in the Appearances options dialog? I am trying to download some from gnome-look.org, but they dont come with any instructions on how to integrate them into gnome. _________________ John5788 |

I don't know much about gnome, but the standard location if you want to install them for your user only is ~/.icons/. Then you can select one by simply symlinking one of the subdirs to ~/.icons/default. I guess that the gnome pointer manager should be able to list those as well. Give it a try. |
