Hi Cuban,

You do not need to merge anything else. What you are seeing is the standard defualt behaviour for when you run xmame without any command-line parameters. To actually run a game you will need to specify the path and name to a rom that you have:

Code:

xmame /path/to/my/roms/aRom.zip

Naturally, if you don't actually have any roms, xmame won't do much for you. In addition to specifying roms on the command line, there are several xmame front-ends out there. gxmame is a good gnome front end.

Additionally, it is not legal (in the US anyways) to use xmame to play a game/rom unless you legally own the original game or a license for to use the rom.

Ah, thanks! Well I just want it for playing pacman. Which I own like 1000 copies of. I guess I'll have to search the net for a copy of it.
