Hi Folks!
Any idea how to get Wake on LAN working on a SMC1255TX NIC?
lspci gives this output:
00:06.0 Ethernet controller: Accton Technology Corporation EN-1216 Ethernet Adapter (rev 11)
Everything else runs perfectly with the kernel tulip driver.
WOL works if I poweroff from M$ Windows XP, but I have no use for this as you can imagine and unfortunatly it does not work with Linux . It seems like the driver does not switch the card into the necessary mode.
ethtool did not work for me, tulip probably has no interface and the tulip-devel driver changed nothing, too.
Anybody an idea what to do?
Thanks! Jeorsch |
