Hi, i buy this drive and all worked fine until (i suppose) i change for the kernel 2.6.29-r3 and put my partition to ext4.
Now when i connect it, i just hear "tac tac tac....". The drive works fine on my tv(and no "tac tac.." sound) so he's not dead.
I try to boot my computer with the drive connected and this works but not very good. The "tac tac tac..." sound is not removed and my usb hd just unmount automatically very fast after login in X (~30s after).
the command dmesg repeat me strange lines:
Quote: | [ 897.357040] ehci_hcd 0000:00:1a.7: reused qh ffff88007f01e320 schedule

this never stop repeating (without hd connected)
The drive is in fat32 and any help would be welcome.
edit: i changed the usb for another and the drive works fine
But the dmesg give me endless this line again and again:
Quote: | [ 687.934164] usb 1-4: events/0 timed out on ep1in len=0/6 |
I just compiled in "hard" the fuse in the kernel before i reboot, it was "module" before.
Can this be the problem and must i let the fuse ebuild on my hard drive from a previous emerge ? |
