I've installed Gentoo according the installation guide and emerged PCMCIA support and after reboot emerged the wlan set.
I need for my SITECOM PCMCIA card (Prism2 chipset) the prism2_cs.o driver. But emerging the linux-wlan-ng did not create this module.
How can I create this module? An option (but I am new to Gentoo, so I don't know) could be to change "make config" file for linux-wlan-ng to put a "Y" for building a Prism2.X PCMCIA card services. But I do not know how.
Please advise.
regards, Ruud. |

Do you have pcmcia in your USE flags? I think you need it in order to build the pcmcia drivers for linux-wlan-ng. You set the USE flags inside of /etc/make.conf. See http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/use-howto.xml for more information. |
