I have a Microsoft (yes yes, I know) MN-510 Wireless USB adapter. I want to install gentoo with it. I have installed gentoo without this wireless adaptor a couple dozen times, but I don't even know where to start with this! I haven't bothered to just try it with the livecd, because I have this funny feeling it is not going to work out of the box. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Yup, and it still never helped. I spent a few hours trying to figure out how to get the usb card to work correctly during the installation process. Turns out that you must have USE="usb" set in order for the linux-wlan-ng emerge to create the prism2_usb driver. Thanks though! |
