hi all!
i am using a workstation, a laptop and a smartphone (nokia e51) for my daily work .on the workstation and the laptop i have installed thunderbird with lightning. now i am searching for a way to synchronize my contacts and calendar information between these devices. after some googling i found the only way will be syncml.
does anyone know a server that can be installed on my home server to do the job or has managed to get a working config?
the funambol server is no choice cause ist java and there are many problems reported with gentoo, and opensync is only a framework so it is also no solution...
thx!

Yes, that's also how I often find myself in front of the various solutions. Many are oversized and simple solutions are hard to find... _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...

try this one
www.funambol.com
it has plugin for thunderbird/lightning on linux, 32 and 64 bit version. And plugins for almost any mobile.
Tremendously elegant installation and works like a charm for me.
