[SOLVED]pppoe, no auth is possible, but user/pwd correct

Hi,

I've reinstalled gentoo and now having problem to access internet using ppp.
I followed strictly the guide on http://www.gentoo-wiki.info/HOWTO_Connect_using_PPPoE for ppp (the first part for ppp; I did everything exactly the same).
The problem is that ifconfig is not showing ppp0. /etc/init.d/net.ppp0 without any problem.
grep pppd /var/log/messages gives as error message no auth is possible, but my pwd and username are correct and I used it yesterday for the installation process...
ARGGH! where is the problem?

how u are connected and which provider you choose?

I'm using mnet. I solved the problem by adding
"user" * "passwd" to /etc/ppp/chap-secrets
