I'm in the process of figuring out using cdrecord to make audio cds, but none of my attempts so far appear to have a Toc.

Using this command:
Code:

cdrecord -v -dev=/dev/cdrw1 speed=1 -audio -pad -eject  -raw what_goes_up.wav

There are no errors, and cdrecord tells me it's fixing the drive at the end (which according to the man page means writing the ToC, yes?).

However, cdrecord -toc straight after gives me this:

Code:

Cdrecord-ProDVD-ProBD-Clone 2.01.01a57 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2009 Jg Schilling

cdrecord -minfo shows this:

So I think the data is there (looking at the CD surface shows a large section has been written to), but for some reason it's still incomplete. Running cdrecord -fix makes no difference - everything produces the same results.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

Stupid question... have you tried playing the CD to see what happens?

Yup, everything just claims it's a blank CD, presumably because there's no ToC...
