Hi all,
I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with ac sources running. I have sound working fine in KDE using the arts sounds daemon. (I think I got that right;-) Alsa is not present on this system. The only problem I have is that both TuxRacer and UT2003 have no sound.
Can anyone tell me why ?

When using the OSS drivers, only one program can access the sound card at a time. In your case, that's arts. You have a few choices:
 use artsdsp, like so:
stop arts before playing these games
switch to ALSA
