Why doesnt the 800cpi switch work for the mx700? its the same mouse as the mx500 :S is it because of the wirelessness? Or is it always enabled? |

What switch?
Im not sure why youre getting the error
Did do a make menuconfig/xconfig after patching and select under the USB section
USB Human Interface Device (full HID) support
HID input layer support
Logitech HID extensions |

I probably messed up in selecting the right USB options :O what a relief (in a way).
I was referring to the 400/800cpi option, where you chose the resolution you rmouse samples at. |

The only way I could figure you getting the error is if the patch didn't apply properly, the kernel should still build properly whether or not the usb config options are enabled, if it still gives you problems the easiest thing to do is start with a fresh linux-2.6.* directory and patch that |

hmm looks like the patch failed, hid-logitech.o wasnt added in :O
had to manually add it to drivers/usb/Makefile _________________ Why did the chicken cross the play ground?
To get to the other slide!
(the other slide was open source) |
