Hello there,

I've been tearing my hair out trying to get a Radeon 9600 Pro running under Gentoo 1.4. Problem is that there are no kernel AGP drivers for my chipset so I'm kind of stuffed (AGP unsupported). Can I try a newer kernel (e.g. 2.6) which might have AGP support built in for my board?? (Shuttle SS51G) - what are my options?

Thanks for any help.
Jeremy

The video onboard is AGP so with your 3rd party AGP card plugged in.. the onboard is disabled. (if that helps any)
