Hi,
Sorry if it's wrong forum.
I've got a SMTP cluster with 3 servers right now. One is the newest recently added. It's with MailScanner and postfix.
My manager is so excited when he saw what postfix can do with MailScanner that we had an idea together to create dual postfix cluster with the one common queue and store directories. The problem is I've been testing and configuring that since last week and the problem is I can't get postfix working.
The problem is we've got dedicated store network device which allows us to use NFS, but NFS doesn't want to work with postfix .
For the last try I've linked just only hold and incoming directory to postfix but the problem is MailScanner didn't want to create locks. I changed lock type to fcntl and MailScanner checked message and put it to incoming directory. Then qmgr hanged.
Code: | Jun 18 12:00:33 smtp65 postfix/qmgr[15618]: fatal: qmgr_active_feed:
3541D19D72A20: rename from incoming to active: Invalid cross-device
link
Jun 18 12:00:34 smtp65 postfix/master[14285]: warning: process /usr/
libexec/postfix/qmgr pid 15618 exit status 1
Jun 18 12:00:34 smtp65 postfix/master[14285]: warning: /usr/libexec/
postfix/qmgr: bad command startup -- throttling |
Now the question is. Does anyone have any idea how to get it working or any other ideas ? I dug out google and I found sad information that postfix will never work with common queues. I don't believe on that because we live in 21st century ... there is anyting impossible.
Thank you for your replies in advance.
Regards,
