I am in a college dorm that uses a unique tv listing. Is there a way to manually build my own tv listing, or somethign like that. |

i guess... thats an option... how hard would that be
i mean i still get normal stations, like cnn and such, just not the same channels as the the local area cable. |

so they're all channels that xml tv supports?, u should just be able to use a normal tv grabber and tell it what channels to grab then |

Okay, I have tried to manually edit the xml file. (tried adding cnn)
The problem is, it still checks with the original listing from their servers. So instead of just downloading CNN's station listings, it checks, realizes its not in the listings for the provider and ignores it.
help?? |

when you first run the grabber it usually asks what channels u want doesn't it? |

It always asks for my area code and downloads the appropriate xml file, which is incorrect since I use a special cable service.
What grabber program are you talking about? Is there some manual mode I don't know about? |
