Klipper tool and certain programs.

Hi I didn't know where to ask this question so I thought the other things Gentoo would apply. I use OpenOffice.Org Ximian ebuild that I found in the forums. I also use Konqueror 3.1.2 and noticed that when you copy a page that has bold or Italicized text into OpenOffice the formatting is lost and just straight text is transferred. I use the klipper tool in KDE. But If I copy the same text out of Mozilla-Firebird then the formatting is not loast and the Bold and Italics are preserved. Is there a way to set up all browsers to preserve the formated text? Is this just because I use the Ximian version? If your version works with Konqueror then what version is it?

Very interesting question. I'm using the original OO 1.1RC3 w/kde, and experience the same problem as you.

I guess it's due to OO's original design.
