Could someone (Or somemany) post their squid conf? I am setting up my squid cache and am having a couple of problems. I would also like to see how other people are using their squid caches. If you also throw in a little discription, I would be greatly appricated. |

please describe your problems.
i've squid running without problems, with just a few option other than the default ones.
some options other then default:
visible_hostname [ip]
redirect_program
redirect_children ... |

I posted that question yesterday and today I remembered that I did not post my problem.
While I typing my problem, I saw what was my problem. I was getting this error:
FATAL: Could not determine fully qualified hostname. Please set 'visible_hostname'
But, in /etc/squid/squid.conf I had:
visible_hostame minime
Notice, I spelled it wrong. Once I fixed the hostname, it worked. Thanks for everyone help. |
