Mach64 DRI

Has anyone successfully installed the mach64 DRI implementation? I have followed the instructions indicated at http://www.retinalburn.net/linux/dri_HOWTO.html to no avail.

I have followed the steps as described in the DRI Compile guide http://dri.sourceforge.net/doc/DRIcompile.html, but I am not sure that I understand section 8.5. I insmod'd the mach64.o module located in the build tree with no problems then I proceeded to try 'make install'. This is where it always seems to fubar. Ironically, the critical error is in the i820 code.

I am using the 1.3b stage3 tarball (note: the same error happened with gcc2)
