|

When I start KDE I get a message from arts saying that:
/dev/dsp can't be opened (Device or resource busy)
The sound server will continue, using the null output device.
However I do hear sound !
And there's also nothing wrong with /dev/dsp when playing an mp3 with noatun:
Code: | fuser -v /dev/dsp
USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
/dev/dsp bas 1575 f.... artsd
bas 10330 f.... artsd
bas 10342 f.... artsd
|
When I log out of KDE an log back in, the message doesn't show up.
I'm running KDE release 3.1.90 (CVS 20030820) so it's possible that I have a broken arts...
What could be the problem? |
