Anyone had luck with this? Call me stubborn, but I am not going to downgrade my kernel to make these drivers work.
If someone is managed to do this, what version of kernel you used? Reason why i need 185.13 is that my compiz won't work properly on 180.60. |

Take a look in bugzilla for "ALL nvidia-drivers". There is a kernel change, and nVidia is of course behind the curve on it. One of my home systems has a "legacy" card, so I'm stuck to 17X-series drivers. I applied the patch and it compiled and runs cleanly against the 2.6.30 series. I also saw references to patches for other nvidia-drivers, but you'd have to check for your specific one. _________________ .sigs waste space and bandwidth |
