I have a computer that was recently moved from a DHCP network to a statically allocated network. I'm having trouble figuring out what exactly I need to do to get gentoo to do the static configuration at boot, right now I manually ifconfig the ipaddresses and add the routing information by hand. Is there a way to script it? |

Hello.
What you need is to edit /etc/conf.d/net to meet your requirements.
