Hi Leute,

wollte mir einen schönen bootsplash machen, und bin nach diesem tutorial vorgegangen: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=49036

Da wird in Schritt 6. gesagt wie man die initrd erstellt, und nun mein Problem: ich habe bereits eine initrd mit der meine Controller-Treiber geladen werden. Kann ich dem tool "splash" sagen das er es in die bestehende initrd integrieren soll, oder ist es möglich lilo mitzuteilen das er 2 initrd's laden soll ?

Was ich noch komisch finde, wenn ich mit

/sbin/splash -s -f /etc/bootsplash/BlackTux/config/bootsplash-1024x768.cfg > /boot/init1024

die initrd einfach mal erstelle, gibt mit 'file' als Typ

/boot/init1024: \<!doctype\ html HTML document text

damit kann ich nichts wirklich anfangen :roll:

Meine derzeitige initrd kann ich wenigstens mounten ....

hoffe jmd. hat ne idee
