|
|
As far as I have read, a disc that was formatted from a Sony Handycam as a VR disc is a UDF formatted disc.
However, I can't seem to get it mounted:
Code: |
64lappy bigun # mount /mnt/cdrom/
mount: you must specify the filesystem type
|
So I specify the UDF filetype in fstab:
Code: |
64lappy bigun # mount /mnt/cdrom/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so
|
No luck. Does anyone use a Sony Handycam to record media? If so, have you successfully used a RW in one of these and mounted it in Linux and pulled video off of it? _________________ "It's ok, they might have guns but we have flowers." - Perpetual Victim |
