As far as I have read, a disc that was formatted from a Sony Handycam as a VR disc is a UDF formatted disc.

However, I can't seem to get it mounted:

Code:

64lappy bigun # mount /mnt/cdrom/
mount: you must specify the filesystem type

So I specify the UDF filetype in fstab:
Code:

64lappy bigun # mount /mnt/cdrom/
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hda,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
       dmesg | tail  or so

No luck. Does anyone use a Sony Handycam to record media? If so, have you successfully used a RW in one of these and mounted it in Linux and pulled video off of it?
