Hi.

I'm using a vanilla 2.6.27 kernel because these driver http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php doesn't work with the stable gentoo-sources 2.6.29-r5.

If I use gentoo-sourcers-2.6.29-r5, and 2.6.29 kernel image built with this sources..., I can build the module, but when I try to load it I get this error:

Code:
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

I have tried applying the 2.6.29 patch, and I get the same error.

Anyone has the same problem?

I have found net-wireless/broadcom-sta in the portage tree. Is the same driver?

Thanks.

Whether or not this is the right driver depends on your card but yes broadcom-sta in portage is the same as linux-sta.

Check this post for kernel config options.
