Quick question, I was using -march=prescott in my CFLAGS, but I think since I recently upgraded to gcc-4.3.2 I can move to -march=core2. Is this true?

This is the output from /proc/cpuinfo
Code:
vendor_id       : GenuineIntel
cpu family      : 6
model           : 15
model name      : Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual  CPU  T3400  @ 2.16GHz
stepping        : 13

It looks like it should be fine according to this link, but I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry, since it doesn't explicitly list the T34xx chip:

I've done the very same migration back when gcc started supporting -march=core2 and had no problems, IIRC.

Ok thanks for the input. I guess I'll take the dive in :)

Other comments/experiences welcomed...
