|
|
I just moved my Gentoo box with an ATI Radeon 9700Pro from a 21" CRT to a 17" LCD. The LCD is a CORNEA SYSTEMS CT1700, which the manufacturers website says is Linux compatible... I have a small problem..
If I enter the Vert & Horiz entries from the manual (http://www.corneasystems.com/ct1700.php) I get "Input Signal Out of Range" on the monitor.. I fixed this be reducing the top number in the HSync ...
Now my problem is that about half of the KDE panel at the bottom does not appear on my monitor... As far as I can tell, this is the only part of the desktop that does not appear...
I would like to know what I need to do to correct this... Any help would be very much appreciated...
Thanks |

umm... adjust the monitor? thats what those little buttons are for on the front. if you did that allready then check your resolution, i have a 17 inch LCD and its max is 1280 x 1024, so dont go over that. |

Problem solved by entering HSync and VSync values higher than in the manual of the monitor...
