Is the gigabit ethernet interface on an NForce2 mobo supported in LINUX? I know the NVnet module exists for the 10/100 chipset but I have heard nothing of the gigabit one being supported. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanks all. |

that depends on who makes the gigabit nic you have. The standard nvidia one comes on (virtually?) all nforce2's but a second one is up to the motherboard maker - for example my Asus has a 3com 10/100
who makes your motherboard and who makes the gigabit lan card that is included on it? _________________ Keyboard error or no keyboard present. Press F1 to continue. |
