Compiz - stop firefox (and others) from jumping viewports?

This seems like it should be simple enough, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Anyone know how to stop firefox from jumping from one viewport or desktop, to the current one when you click a url within another application?. For example if I have kmail open in 8 and firefox is over in 4, when I click a link in kmail firefox jumps to 8 where kmail is. This gets really annoying.

I'm using the ~amd64 compiz packages out of desktop-effects btw if it matters.
