Say for example I turn off the squid proxy that usually accepts requests on port 3128 of my server.
Is there an iptables command that will simply forward all packets to their destination in the absence of squid running? |

Try a transparent proxy? I think thats the better solution. _________________ Antonino Catinello | http://catinello.eu |

I agree - can you point me in the direction of a decent lightweight transparent proxy? I've found things like proxy scripts written in perl, but they always crash because they aren't well written to handle all types of requests. |
