hello,people
my dell studio 15 laptop's display card is ati hd4570,ati-drivers seems not support this,
is there anybody using hd4570 ?

thank you very much,but i emerged ati-drivers ,
i think that the driver is version 9.9, bu there is a error
the commands :"X -configure" or "Xorg -configure" got the log messages:
(this is inputed by my hands)

the kernel configuration is done by gentoo documents
the command:modprobe fglrx not got any message
the command:X and startx will make the computer No response, just get a black screen

hmmm - it sounds like an old version.
ati-drivers (thats how fglrx drivers are called in gentoo) are available as version 9.9, but they are keyworded.
run
Code: | # emerge -pv ati-drivers |
to find out what drivers are being installed.
If it is not 9.9 (or 9.9-rX) that is being installed, you need to keyword that package - maybe some others too.
