Recently I just required new hardware.
I got the AMD X3 720 module and the gtx 275 GPU, I got 4gb of RAM and a gigabyte motherboard.
Which preinstallation files or do's should I do before installing the latest gentoo
should I do in order to prevent any penalties during the installation ? (I know it won't go fresh at all, but I wish to be prepared a bit)
Are there any specific things I should know first ? (read, d/l, etc) ?
Thanks in advance. |

One thing you need to decide is if you want a 32-bits or a 64-bits system.

A fact, if you choose 32 bit, 1 gb of your 4gb will be wasted.
