lspci is part of a package called pciutils, I was thinking it was now in the stage tarball..., some good tools when next in chroot

okay well what i am going to do is figure this out somehow........i did all the selections you told me to do and like it still failed....

i am like wtf! soo i am totally going to try from scratch all over again....thanks for the help and i am going to keep certain files on a usb drive like fstab and resolv.conf and make sure to put gentoo on a primary partition!!

got it installed on my desktop I am going to wipe the partition and make it all over again on laptop.

I think it just had to deal with me trying to install first time...

well I am off to get Xorg and xfce4 running on desktop but I gotta say gentoo is fricken fast compared to my ubuntu 9.04 2.6.31.2 custom install
