|
|
I have a LUKS partition crypt0 at the top of sdb1. And some partitions at the top of crypt0. So I need to start LVM service *after* dmcrypt service started.
With older version of openrc I was using 'rc_lvm_need='dmcrypt'" in /etc/rc.conf and it was worked. But with openrc 0.5.1 lvm *always* started before dmcrypt. I have tried RC_AFTER="dmcrypt" in /etc/conf.d/lvm and even "after dmcrypt" in /etc/init.d/lvm, but it is useless... What I do wrong? Is it bug of openrc-0.5.1?
kernel is 2.6.30
sys-apps/openrc is 0.5.1
sys-fs/lvm2 is 2.02.36
sys-apps/baselayout is 2.0.1
sys-fs/cryptsetup is 1.0.6-r2 |

I have found RC_AFTER="lvm" in /etc/conf.d/device-mapper... So there is was a circular dependencies. I removed this entry from file and now all OK. Solved. |
