I did an update just the other night and when i rebooted my computer, virtually nothing in XFCE is now working. I have tried installing different versions (more stable releases) re-emerge-ing dbus, and even tried a few different use flags. I even tried "emerge -e xfdesktop" and a rev-dep. I am stumped and have no idea what could be wrong. Below is the error that is given when i run xfdesktop in a terminal.
Code: |

Thanks, it helped me out as well. The unattended update killed the skins in audacious and icons in a few other apps. I should probably stop updating just before going to bed because I don't really feel like reading emerge messages when I wake up in the morning. |

I wrote a script to sync, update world, revdep, and env-update and then shutdown...so i have no idea what fails... i should write a script for when i boot up after an update that it'll give me the results. |
