I have emerged the new source code for kernel 2.4.20r6,a nd want to use that instead of r5. I still have r5 on the PC, but when i go to /usr/src/linux and make menuconfig, it uses r5.

If i goto /usr/src/linux-2.4.20r6, then i do not have any of the modules from previously in it. How can i get the same modules compiled, can i just copy a config file over?

Please help, i have looked for info, but not found anything....

TIA

D
