Did an update last night. Everything was fine until I restarted the machine this morning. The keyboard and mouse are non-responsive in X. Xorg.log shows:
(EE) Failed to load module "kbd" (module requirement mismatch, 0)
It shows the same thing for the mouse driver. It also shows this:
(EE) module ABI major version (2) doesn't match the server's version (4)
Any idea of what is wrong? The keyboard/mouse work fine in console. |

This is reemerge automatically with xorg-1.6 update (because the version of evdev was incremented), if he used it before. But based on the error message, he uses kbd and mouse drivers in xorg.conf, rather than evdev/HAL configuration. |

Hi,
Give a try to the following, it might help you :
Code: | mv /etc/X11/xorg.conf /etc/X11/xorg.bakconf |
