forewarning, I'm new to this.....So I've gotten my gentoo configured and my Xorg and KDE. The next step I need is connecting via my netgear MA111. I can already connected with a ethernet cable, but I'd like to do it wireless. How would I go about doing this? Do I need to emerge usb drivers then emrge something for the MA111. I've seen articels on this, but it seems like most of them are for the PCI version. Any help would be appreciated.
thanks |

you need to look into linux-wlan, its got support for the ma111, but its quite difficult to get working http://www.linux-wlan.org/
its quite easy to get set up, but im having trouble getting it to broadcast a network, and to get other ppl to join it, its not a well documented package _________________ 4 out of 5 voices in my head tell me im not crazy |
