|
|
Hello !
I just installed gentoo from scratch, and as I was feeling courageous, I tried ACEPT_KEYWORD="~x86"...
So when I installed xorg it gave me 1.7. Fine...
But when I try Xorg -configure to have a xorg.conf, it says :
failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules//driversnvidia_drv.so
I guess the correct file would be
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.so
which exists...
So is there a type in xorg1.7 ebuild ?... Or is something else going wrong ?
Thanks !
[EDIT]
Well, pretty strange, I just switched eselect opengl set 2 then set 1 (1 is nvidia, 2 is xorg-x11) and now it works fine xD |

Hi, can you post this :
Code: |
# emerge --info
# rc-update show
# qlist -IC x11-drivers
# cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf
|
That's weird. |

Well, that sure makes a lot of code...
Code: | gyscos ~ # emerge --info

You might try getting rid of the ModulesPath line in xorg.conf and see if that works. |

But it works now, I just used eselect twice and now I don't have this message anymore...
So I'm trying not to fix what's still working ^^ |
