Hey everyone, n00b here :)

I was wondering if its possible to run X applications remotely via SSH.. In other words.. I am here at work on my macbook and I have SSH'd to my Gentoo box at home. I want to be able to see my desktop, see Gnome and all of the applications and run them remotely through SSH. is that possible?

If you want to see your GNOME desktop, you can run VNC through a SSH tunnel. If you just want to run an app and have it display on your laptop, you don't actually have to see the GNOME desktop.
