Hi

I'm new to this and I kinda followed step by step. Now I have a problem with "emerge -k sys-kernel/gentoo-sources" from the installation instructions.

First, it doesnt find the emerge command, unless I type ./emerge instead of emerge only. But then again I get the following message:

/usr/bin/env: python2.2: No such file or directory

What's the problem here?

thanks

Hi. Sounds like you've got grief from your path. Did you remember to perform the chroot step, and then source /etc/profile?

If you're doing this via ssh and lost your link, then login again, yes, you'll need to re-chroot, etc. Good luck.
