I'm having a problem where the landscape feature on my printer will NOT work. It's a c4400 photosmart printer. I have the c4400 driver selected in cups, and HPLIP's own program recognized the printer, and as far as all eyes can see, there is nothing wrong. However, the landscape feature will NOT work. It does not work when setting it in HPLIP, or does it work when setting it in the Print properties of the program (in this case, Okular). The page always comes out in a portrait, and therefore cuts off half of the page (it's an 8x11 page, so 3 inches is cut off on the right).

I have no idea where to go from here..anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

Did you try some other print program? Such as acroread or gtklp. If even acroread doesn't work, then I would say it is a driver problem.
