I wanted to give it a try now that chromium is in portage in a non-bin form.
For the most part, it works beautifully. It's noticeably faster in some of the sites I visit, and it just crunches seamonkey2 on the sunspider javascript benchmark (4.03x in my case). I've even managed to install all my custom css's without any problem on it, and anything using flash is responsive, unlike in some other browsers. So far, I am impressed because I really didn't expect almost everything to work out of the box without any tunning.
I have only one complain, and it's about fonts. A picture will better describe it.

I don't really expect a solution, I guess it's just a matter of time until it catches up. But I'd like to hear other people's comments about this. Of course if you have a solution that'd be great.
