I am using gentoo-r8 under the 2.6.27 kernel. I am seeing something very odd. Our application does a lot serial communications and we are seeing that occasionally the driver does not return the last 1 or 2 bytes of data the uart has received. We have verified that the data has in fact been sent, the uart interrupts and that the driver issues a read. it just does not return the data. anyone seen this before |

It's been a long now since I don't use serial's. Have you tried with a different kernel?. Also, If I recall correctly, there were some parameters regarding buffers that you could play with, but talking from memory.
